Educational objectives Acquisition of the skills necessary for the design of a sampling and in field measurement of abiotic and biotic variables
Prerequisites In order to understand the concepts covered in the course, the student must have basic knowledge of chemistry, ecology, zoology and botany.
Teaching methods Lectures in the classroom and some practical activities in field and lab.

Extended program Introduction to methodologies of in situ measurement, sampling and laboratory analysis for biotic and abiotic variables of aquatic ecosystems: 1)variables of water quality, hydrochemistry and methods of analysis; 2) planktonic community, biology, taxonomic attribution and abundance estimation; 3)macroinvertebrates, biology, taxonomic attribution and abundance estimation; Analysis and in field detection of plant communities.
